Developed for the craftsman

RS Kloakophæng was developed in Denmark, in collaboration with Danish craftsmen, and makes it easy and quick to unclog sewer pipes.

When an inquiry from a large Danish contractor landed with Mikael Rødkjær, he immediately set about generating ideas.

The contractor wanted to find a way in which it was faster, but still as safe and effective, as the known systems with threaded rods, to strap up sewer pipes.

The solution naturally had to meet all legal requirements and common goals, but provide the opportunity to make the work with strapping more effective.

In collaboration with the contractor, Mikael Rødkjær came up with the RS sewer suspension, which makes it quick, easy and efficient to strap up sewer pipes.

All in one

Everything is combined in one suspension when you use the RS sewer suspension, and you don’t have to bother with threaded rods, but simply twist the bracket on the sewer pipe and tighten it with a bolt.

The sewer suspension is made in a 50 mm. wide steel band in acid-resistant stainless, and is provided with a glued-on rubber band to protect the sewer pipe.

The suspension is easily opened and twisted on the sewer pipe, after which it is clamped around the pipe and tightened with an 8 mm. bolt.

When the grating is laid, the upper part of the suspension is bent so that it sits in the concrete.

RS sewer suspension naturally has all the necessary approvals and meets current ERFA targets.
